This was my most touching drama as it made every
body cry in the hall. We had 64 of his direct
descendants in the hall and they all watched their
great forebear in heaven asking Allah what just
happened. We could not shoot Sardauna again in
Abuja on stage so we opened the play with a loud
noise in thick darkness and pronto when the lights
came up, it was the great Sardauna and his wife
who died with him that were having a retrospective
discussion about Nigeria and events that led to the
coup.
A 7-man cast, filled with very touchy dialogue
addressing very spirited issues of a national nature,
Sarduana is a serious play that would redirect your
association towards the very difficult task of nation
building. Highly recommended to your association
